Elementary School
Acorns & Oaks K-2 Microschool builds strong academic foundations while nurturing confidence, character, and a love of learning rooted in faith.
Young Oaks: K-2 Microschool
Our K-2 program follows a microschool model — intentionally small, relationship-centered, and designed for deep learning. Students build essential skills in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking through hands-on, engaging lessons. Collaboration, problem solving, and personal responsibility are woven into each day, helping children grow both academically and in character.
Individualized Learning. Intentional Growth.
In our microschool environment, each child is known personally and guided at the pace that best supports their growth. We recognize that children develop skills in different seasons, so our teachers provide thoughtful instruction, encouragement, and challenge tailored to each learner. Students gain confidence as they master foundational skills while receiving support where they need extra time and care.
Growing in Wisdom Across Generations
Meaningful relationships with older adults are formed through shared activities and simple moments of connection. These experiences help children grow in empathy, confidence, and respect as they learn to value people of all ages and abilities.
Strong Foundations. Confident Futures.
Our microschool setting allows us to intentionally cultivate independence, resilience, and responsibility through consistent routines and meaningful expectations. For families seeking a smaller, faith-rooted learning community, Acorns & Oaks provides a nurturing environment where children are supported, challenged, and prepared for the next stage of learning and life.
